Charlie Parks Obituary
Charles Parks of Burlington passed away on Friday at the age of 83. He was born in Vincentown and was a longtime Burlington resident. Charlie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who loved his family dearly.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator with Local 469 and then with Local 825 Operating Engineers for over 20 years before his retirement. He worked for National Paving, M.E. Keating of Florence and retired from Jersey Construction. Charlie enjoyed car racing and spent time and memories going to Daytona Racetrack and Bridgeport Race Track. He loved to go to the Tractor Pull events at the Burlington County Fairgrounds and making memories with his friends from Jacksonville and with his great-granddaughter.
Charles was predeceased by 12 siblings and his daughter Terri. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years Patricia (Nee: Seward) Parks, daughter Jodie; 5 grandchildren: Lynsie, CJ, Joey, Makenna, Lily, 8 Great-Grandkids a brother James Parks and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cremation services will be held privately by his family.
