Christopher "Chris" Martin Obituary

Christopher “Chris” Martin of Lumberton Township, formerly of Burlington Township, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was 42 years young. He lived an adventurous life enjoying all nature had to offer- camping, mountain hiking, skiing, fishing, bicycling and target practice at the shooting range. He found pleasure in simple things like sitting around a fire pit gazing at the evening stars or during the day finding objects formed in the clouds.

Christopher graduated from Burlington Township High School and Stockton University. He was most recently employed as a Hazmat & Facility Support Specialist at Syensqo located in Bristol, PA. He was an ambitious lad starting employment at Lumadues at the age of 14. He was coached by his beloved Grandfather, Paul Polizzi Sr. from a young age, who imparted in him excellent gardening, mechanical and woodworking skills along with a strong sense of family love. Christopher was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

Christopher was pre-deceased by his loving grandparents, Jean and Paul Polizzi. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Lorraine and Paul Waxmonsky, siblings Gary Martin, Jr. (Lauren), Paula Ryder (Robert), Michael Martin (Britany). He also leaves behind a niece who always held a special place in his heart. JaZelle, as well as nieces Edna & Theresa and nephews Colin, Logan, Harry, Christopher is also survived by his loving extended family – Uncle Paul Polizzi, Jr., Aunt Jeanie Tuthill (Dave) and Uncle Gary Polizzi (Kelley) and several cousins. Christopher treasured his 4-legged buddies, Balsam and Elliot who are feeling the loss as well.
