I have found my final resting place. That special spot to fish. I’ve taken a journey to that fishing hole in the sky. I’m joining my fishing partner and love of my life, Betty. Slim departed for his final fishing trip on December 19, 2020 after a valiant battle. He is survived by his daughter Beverly (Champion) and son in law Gene Schnegelsberger of Burlington with whom he lived, his grandson Christopher (Nadine) Schnegelsberger of Burlington, his great grandchildren Colin, Kylie and Khloe Schnegelsberger, his grandson Justin Schnegelsberger of Burlington, his son Edward (Heather) Champion of Levittown, PA, his grandchildren Clayton Johnston of Old Bridge, NJ, Delaney and Carter Champion of Levittown, PA, his special family Ron, Rick, Robbie and Robin and far too many fishing buddies over the years to list. His legacy of fishing was taught to many. So don’t shed a tear, cast a line, fish and be happy. A walk through visitation for Slim will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Masks and social distancing will be required. Contributions in Slim’s memory made to the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016 to assist with final expenses would be appreciated by his family.
