On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, Clifton Charles Frake, Jr., of Burlington City, New Jersey passed away at the age of 63 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Burlington Township in 1957, Cliff graduated from Burlington Township High School in 1976 and attended Rutgers University and Burlington County College. He was a skilled Carpenter and “Jack of all trades”. Cliff was a member of New Jersey Carpenters Local #1489 and had his own General Contracting business for many years. Cliff has worked as the Church Sexton at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Burlington, NJ for the past 17 years and also continued to craft many construction projects for the church, family, friends and customers. Cliff had a passion for darts both as a player and team manager, played Softball in his younger years, was a lifelong Phillies and Eagles fan, and loved the music of Bruce Springsteen. He was a man of few words but had a heart of gold. Predeceased by his parents, Clifton C. Frake, Sr., Mildred D. Frake (Auclair) he is survived by his siblings Barbara Frake, Janice McGrath (Donald), William Frake (Linda). He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, Lauren McGrath (Troy Emerson), Sean McGrath, Eliza Gonzalez (Jose) and Jarrett Frake, his great nephew/godson Christian Gonzalez and great niece Madison Gonzalez along with many cousins and lifelong friends. He will be truly missed by his devoted dog Prince. A walk through viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at Old St. Mary’s Church on West Broad Street in Burlington City from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by burial in St. Mary’s Churchyard. Due to Covid-19 restrictions please wear a mask and follow all social distancing requirements. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to either St. Mary’s Episcopal Church or St. Mary’s Ladle of Love both located at 145 West Broad Street, Burlington, NJ 08016.
