Daniel J. “Spider” Webb of Burlington City passed away at his residence on November 12, 2024 at the age of 77. Daniel was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong resident. After graduation from Burlington City High School, Spider entered the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. After returning from military service, he began a lifelong service to his community as a volunteer firefighter for the Niagara Hose Co. No. 6 and the Neptune Hose Co. No. 5, both in Burlington City. Spider was predeceased by his parents, Ira and Ruth (nee Farrell) Webb and his aunts and uncles; Jean and Bob Irwin, Dan and Terri Farrell and James Farrell and Helen Jacoby. He is survived by his cousins; Jack and Scott (Sue) Farrell, Helen (Rob) Seybert, Rich Farrell and Bonnie. He is also survived by his close friend Diane Regula and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Wednesday, November 20th from 9:30-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A funeral service will begin at 11am followed by burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery, 4527 US Rt. 130 Burlington.
