Darlene Yacona of Sanford, Florida and formerly of Burlington, NJ, passed away Tuesday April 21, 2026 in Lake Mary, Florida. Born in Riverside, Darlene was a longtime Burlington resident. In her younger years she worked as a weaver at Riverside Mills in Riverside. As time went on, she became more of a homemaker, taking care of her beloved family. She loved being out and about, enjoying the outdoors, trips to the shore, gardening and going shopping, especially at Boscovs. She also enjoyed music, scratch-offs, and loved her pets. Darlene will be most remembered for her love of family. To her, family was everything. She enjoyed spending time with them and spent much time taking care of her husband John and mother-in-law Louise. She was also the most genuine, loyal and selfless person , willing to do whatever she could to help someone. She was predeceased by her husband John, parents Francis and Janet (nee Hullings) Snow, stepfather, Ed Davis, mother in law, Louise Yacona and siblings Phyllis and John. Darlene is survived by her children; Danyell, Johnny (Katie) and Sean (Jennifer), her grandchildren; Alaina, Stephon, Wyatt, Wrenley and Wraelyn, her great grandsons Carson and Ethan, her siblings Fran, Dave, Joe and Wayne as well as many nieces and nephews. A visitation for Darlene will be held Monday, May 4th from 9-10:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Monday in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington, with burial following in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington.
