David Hammell

David Hammell of Westampton, passed away on April 25, 2024 in Marcella Nursing Center at the age of 82. Dave was born in Roebling to the late Milton and Jesse (Ibach) Hammell.

Dave was a Design Engineer for Stoney-Webster for many years. He was a classic car guy, who liked Mustangs in general, and visiting the Jersey shore at LBI.

He has a strong faith and belonged to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and St. Mary's in Burlington. 

Dave was predeceased by their daughter  Karen Hammell and  leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of nearly 60 years Virginia "Ginger"; sons: James "Jim" and Christopher "Chris" Hammell, a brother Keith (Nan) Hammell and nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held in Old St. Mary's Church at the corner of Wood Street and West Broad Streets on Tuesday from 10-11am. Burial Office will be said at 11am with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
