David C. Horton of Willingboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday in Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly at the age of 77. Dave was a longtime Burlington and Willingboro resident. Dave served his country proudly in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1966-1969. He worked for and retired from the NJ Turnpike Authority as a Supervisor after 37 years of service. Dave was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 1436 St. John Neumann Council and enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Dave and Mary-Virginia enjoyed spending time traveling and taking day trips with their friends. Dave was predeceased by his parents Eugene Horton and Frances (Nee:Scattergood) Horton, a beloved daughter Stephanie and his brother Bryant. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 55 and ½ years Mary Virginia (Nee: Saaybe) and their children: Amanda, Patrick; extended family members Alex and Ashley Cryan and a nephew Jason Horton and many cherished friends. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Thursday from 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Corpus Christi RC Church 11 South Sunset Rd. Willingboro, NJ on Friday at 10:30am. There will not be a viewing prior to mass. Burial will follow mass in Lakeview Memorial Park, Rt. 130 North, Cinnaminson.
