David D. Onori passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2023. He was 66 years old. Dave was a graduate of Burlington City High School and was a lifelong Burlington resident. He loved all sports, especially his New York Yankees! He enjoyed watching golf, baseball and football. If he wasn’t watching sports, he would be watching various cooking shows to put the skills to use. He loved to cook and would make the best Italian foods. After retiring from the grocery store business after 46 years, he would go fishing, sit on the porch or sit on the couch watching his favorite tv shows while scratching his lottery tickets. The best part of his retirement was spending every Saturday morning with his Dad at the Golden Dawn Diner having breakfast, talking and scratching their lottery tickets together. It was something that they both looked forward to each week. David was preceded in death by his mother Ida Corson (nee Sussano) and his father in law Dominic Macellari. He is survived by his father Paul Onori (Jane) of Burlington, his brother Paul of Levittown, his daughters Morgan, Laura and Candi as well as his wife Tammy. He is also survived by his mother in law Sandra Macellari, sister in law Brandee Street (Terrence), his father’s sister Bette Sullivan, his mother’s sister Phyllis Reardon, his nephews Paul and Brandon Onori as well as many cousins on both sides. Funeral services will be held privately.
