Deborah A. “Debbie” Tuno of Burlington City, NJ, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Virtua Lourdes Hospital in Camden at the age of 66. Born in Red Bank, NJ, Debbie was a longtime resident of Burlington City. Debbie worked for the federal government for over 35 years, retiring as a contracting officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons at Ft. Dix.  Debbie was also a parishioner and active volunteer for the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Paul R.C. Church in Burlington. Debbie was predeceased by her husband Kevin Tuno, her parents George and Dorothy (nee Rooke) Pelose, her nephew Daniel Hawkes, and her mother-in-law Martha Tuno. Debbie is survived by her siblings Diane (Nick) Wood, George (Alison) Pelose and Donna (Steve) Maffei, and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Patty and Dave Hawkes. Debbie was a fun and treasured Aunt to Christine, Eddie, Gavin, Morgan, George, Gregory, Brian, Danny, Becca, Gracie, Jackson, Kayleigh and Jaxtyn.  Visitation will be held 8:00am to 10:00am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ, with a memorial mass immediately following at 10:00am.  Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 223 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington, NJ.
