Diane L (Meinert) Hagan

Diane L. Hagan of Cinnaminson passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 75.  She recently retired in June, from her job of over 30 years, at Burlington County Resource Recovery. Diane had three great loves in her life, her family, her job, and shopping.  

She loved her job and the friendships she had made with the drivers she worked with.  As you would drive around with her whenever she saw one of “her guys” she would honk and wave at them and tell you a little story about them.  She was always happy and excited to see them.  

She loved to go shopping. It was her “therapy” as she called it.   She loved to walk the aisles searching for little treasures that her children and grandchildren would like. A little smile on her face every time she found something that she knew somebody just had to have.  She never worried about getting anything for herself it was always about what would make someone else happy.

Her family meant the most to her, everything she did was for them. John, her eldest son that she spoiled too much.  Mark, the one she always said she didn’t have to worry about.  Erin, who she didn’t understand why she acted that way, she doesn’t act like me and Tim, her baby, so proud of him for the man he had become.

Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a selfless woman who put the happiness of others above her own.  Her passing has created a void in the hearts of everyone who truly knew her.  She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, John Hagan and his wife Sandra, Mark Hagan and his wife Cindy, Erin Peirce and Tim Hagan and his wife Liz. She also is survived by her ten grandchildren. The family invites friends to her visitation at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016, on Monday from 6:30-8pm.
