Diane was born on April 27, 1943 in Burlington, New Jersey. She graduated from Burlington High School, Georgetown University receiving a Baccalaureate and Masters of Science and a Doctorate of Philosophy from George Washington University. Diane was a career US Government employee, tasked in the Departments of Transportation, Defense, State and Agriculture. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Julia and Dominic Chrzanowski, grandparents Antonina and Andrzej Chmielowski, Ludwick and Stanislawa Chrzanowski. Diane is survived by her son Sherman Lawrence Roberts, brother Lawrence Dominic Chrzanowski (Peggy Ploetner). Diane was most proud of her son, Sherman L Roberts, Polish heritage, Catholic faith, Polish Pope John Paul II, conducting symposia in South America, Yugoslavia, and Eastern Europe, her association with the Department of Defense Strategic Defense Initiative Operation, and her association with the US State Department’s International Narcotics Matters. Diane spoke Polish, Russian, French, and Spanish. Diane was welcomed to God’s Care on March 17, 2025. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 9:30AM followed by a mass at 10:30AM at All Saints RC Church, 502 High Street, Burlington, NJ.
