Dolores L. Anchak

Dolores L. Anchak, 68 of Burlington City passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023 and is now in her heavenly home. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime resident of the City of Burlington. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Burlington. She attended programs at the Delaware House in Westampton and made many friends there. She loved animals, particularly her cat, Sara. She enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. She most enjoyed spending time with her sister and brother in law, Pat and Dan Tocci. She was one of God’s special people. Dolores was predeceased by her loving mother Gertrude (nee Chase) Anchak, her beloved aunt and uncle Elizabeth and Thomas McConnell. She was also predeceased by her aunt and uncle Lillian and William Zemitis and uncle George Chase, who was killed in the Korean War and a recipient of the Purple Heart. She is survived by her beloved sister and brother in law Patricia and Daniel Tocci, her cousin Effalon McConnell, who was always there for her. She is also survived by cousins William and Cyndi Zemitis. The family would like to acknowledge her former pastor, Rev. Thomas Bennett, who provided her with much guidance, her brother in law Dan’s father Daniel Tocci and her landlord the Sasaki family for all their help and support. As per Dolores’ request, funeral services will be held privately, graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Lowe, Pastor First Baptist Church of Burlington officiating. Contributions in her memory made to either the Delaware House, 25 Ikea Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060 or to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060 would be appreciated by her family.
