Dolores Zalewski, born on April 17, 1939, died unexpectedly on February 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughter Joyce and son-in-law, Ivan. A devoted wife, Dolores shared 64 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, John J. Zalewski (pre-deceased). Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. She was a cherished mother to her four children: John J. Zalewski, Jane Philips, Janice Zalewski and Joyce Solero. Her legacy continued through her four grandchildren—Alex Carnivale (Nicole), Dana Carnivale (Jim), Vince Carnivale (Emily), and Courtney Leopold (Pre-Deceased)—who brought her immense joy. Dolores was also a proud great-grandmother to Sophia, Dean, Brielle and Gianna Alexis each of whom she adored. A graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia, Dolores met John in Adalbert Church, Philadelphia, PA, before settling in Burlington, NJ, to raise their family. She was a woman of deep kindness and unwavering faith, always offering warmth, wisdom, and a listening ear to everyone. She could meet anyone and they felt her loving attention to them. Her presence was a source of comfort, her laughter a gift, and her love an inspiration. Dolores will be remembered as Babci for her generous spirit, her devotion to family, and the joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Though she has left this world, her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. A celebration of Dolores’s life will be held at Page Funeral Home on March 5, 2025 with services beginning at 10:00am and afterwards will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington NJ. Rest in peace, Babci. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
