Dominic Biancosino of Burlington City passed away Sunday April 11, 2021 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center in Mt. Holly at the age of 82. Dominic was born and raised in the City of Burlington and remained a lifelong resident. Dominic started his first job at the age of 15 cutting and packing corn for Cannulli’s farm and then for Claire’s Pharmacy in Burlington. He worked for Inductotherm in Westampton in their data processing department for many years until his retirement. He also served his country as a member of the Army Reserves and was a member of the Jr. Chamber of Commerce in the 1960’s. Dominic was a spiritual man and was a devoted member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Paul R.C. Church in Burlington City for many years. He was involved in many of the church activities including being a member of the adult choir for over 40 years and a member of the bereavement choir for over 8 years. He also led the Sunday night prayer group for the past 22 years. Dominic also ran bus trips for the parish for many years including trips to the National Shrine in Washington, DC, the St. Jude’s Shrine in Chalfont, PA and to the Trenton Diocese Year of the Holy Spirit. In his spare time Dominic loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, especially on LBI or in Wildwood or Seaside. Dominic also loved to garden and enjoyed cooking. Dominic will be remembered for being a caring person, who also knew a lot about the people and connections in Burlington. Dominic was predeceased by his parents, Charles Sr. and Natalie (nee Merlino) Biancosino and his sister Cecilia Bradbury. He is survived by his sisters Jeanette Frazier and Rita Jane Biancosino, his brother Charles Biancosino, Jr., and his aunt Josephine Migliaccio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. A walkthrough viewing for Dominic will be held Friday April 16th from 6-7:30pm and from 9:30-10:30am on Saturday April 17th at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ 08016. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Saturday April 17th in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. Donations may be made in his memory to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607. Facial covering and social distancing will be required for all events.
