Donna Lee Saragnese passed away on Monday May 25, 2026, at Dwellside Care and Rehab in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Born in Mount Holly, NJ and raised in Burlington, NJ, Donna Lee was a long-time resident of Mount Laurel, NJ.  She graduated from Burlington City High School in 1975 and obtained both a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1979 and a Master of Education Degree from Trenton State College in 1987. Her career began as a teacher in Health Education in 1979. She then became a Teacher of the Handicapped in 1984, and later a Teacher of the Blind or Partially Sighted in 1986. She enjoyed golf and tennis and was an official for girl’s high school field hockey, softball and basketball.

She is predeceased by her parents, Walter Daniel Sr. and Grace (nee Jacobi) Saragnese.  She is survived by her brothers Walter Daniel Saragnese Jr. (Donna) and Donald Saragnese (Sue), nephews Peter Saragnese (Arianne) and Matt Saragnese, nieces Christina Bush (Eric) and Dana Saragnese, and grandnephew Maverick Saragnese.

A visitation for Donna Lee will be held Monday, June 1 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016. A service will begin at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westhampton, NJ 08060 would be appreciated by her family.
