Donna (Montagano) Schnoering

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Schnoering (Nee: Montagano) beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and friend who left us peacefully on December 25,2025 at the age of 72. 

Donna was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Nee: DiCioccio) Montagano and wife of the late Edward Schnoering. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Sarah James and her granddaughter Layla James, her siblings: Louis (Sharon) Montagano, Michael Montagano, Linda (John) Schwartzkopf, The Garden club, Isabella Schnoering, as well as a wide circle of family and friends. 

Donna was a woman whose love for her family and friends knew no bounds. Above all, her daughter Sarah and granddaughter Layla were her pride and joy. Together, they brought her immeasurable happiness and fulfillment throughout her life.

Donna was known for her zest for life and her adventurous spirit. Whether she was enjoying a day at Long Beach Island, indulging in a shopping spree at Columbus sale, or hosting a Sunday Funday deck party, she was always surrounded by the people she loved. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, and she made every occasion feel special. Donna’s “garden club” whom she loved dearly- joined her in all of the fun. Whether tagging along with Sarah and her tribe on their many adventures or grabbing pizza with family, Donna was sure to be the life of the party.

Donna's professional life was equally fulfilling. She was deeply dedicated to her work at Philadelphia Insurance, where she found purpose and pride. Her colleagues were not just coworkers—they were dear friends, and Donna valued these relationships profoundly. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and the friendships she built over the years.

Donna’s love, warmth, and infectious spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves a lasting impact on her family, friends, and colleagues, and her memory will continue to be celebrated in the hearts of those she touched. 

A celebration of life will be held at Life Gate Assembly of God, 1607 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016, on Monday, December 30,2024.  Viewing hours are 9:00-11:00am. Service will be held 11:00-12:00pm with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park 1300 Rt.130N Cinnaminson, NJ. Interment will be private.
