Edna E. Morrissey (nee Bramall) passed away at her son’s residence December 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Born and raised in Beverly, she was a longtime Burlington City resident. She was a registered nurse who worked for Rancocas/Zurbrugg Hospital in Willingboro, retiring after over 40 years of service. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Burlington. Always an active person, Edna bowled for many years both in Burlington and in Edgewater Park. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially her beloved Phillies. She was also an animal lover who enjoyed spending time outdoors either camping or spending time at the shore. Edna also had a few indoor hobbies as well such as playing bingo, cards and spending time at the casinos. She was predeceased by her sons Patrick and Richard Morrissey, her grandson Richard Morrissey, Jr., her brother William Ashton and her sisters, Dorothy Dias and Margaret Patterson. Edna is survived by her son and daughter in law John and Deborah (nee Shoppas) Morrissey, grandchildren; Amanda (Neil Adams) Morrissey, Christopher Morrissey, Stephanie Morrissey, step granddaughters Amy Press and Jennifer Samuils, great granddaughter Rozalyn Morrissey as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members. Viewings for Edna will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 from 6 to 8pm and Saturday, the 3rd from 9:30-10:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am, Saturday January 3rd in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington.
