Edward J. Horn of Browns Mills passed away at his residence Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the age of 86. Survived by his loving wife, Sandra. Born in Riverside, Edward grew up in the Springside area of Burlington Twp. Mr. Horn was a Navy Veteran serving honorably during the Korean War. House painter with the Horn family business. Retired from NJ Turnpike Authority. Honorary firefighter and volunteer of Independent Fire Dept. Mr. Horn was a member of the NRA and NJ Beach Buggy Association. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Pine Barrens and Jersey Shore. His fervor was playing the mandolin with favorite genre being Blue Grass. Predeceased wives; Margaret Horn and Frances Willitts Horn. Predeceased parents of Wm. and Mary Horn (Nick); siblings; Mary, William, Norman and Robert Horn and step-brothers Walt and Richard. Survived by his sisters-in-law Roberta T. Horn and Doris Horn. Niece and caretaker Loretta Atkinson(Horn) husband Bob, children Chelsea Marsh and Michael Atkinson, niece Donna Smekal(Horn) and husband Alan, nephew Norman Horn, niece Diana Graham(Horn) husband Rob, Brenda Woods(Horn) and husband Ed, niece Laurie Stuckey(Horn) and nephew Billie Horn. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-children; children of predeceased wife Frances Willitts, Sandra’s children; John Alley and his children Marissa and Ian Alley. Richard Alley, Evelyn Beach, Sherry Rice. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Route 130 and Beverly Road, Burlington.
