Eleaner P. (Page) Hathaway

Eleaner P. Hathaway (Nee:Page) of Florence Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Masonic Home, Burlington at the age of 99 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Hedding, NJ to the late Grover and Mary Page (Nee:Mantle). Eleaner was a farmer’s wife who worked hard all of her life in the fields, tending to the farm animals, canning vegetables from the garden, and raising her four loving children. She was a very proud “Bammie” and loved all of her grandchildren very much! All of her nieces and nephews would love to come over to the farm, and she would treat them just like they were her own. Eleaner was a great cook and would enjoy cooking for all of her family, especially Saturday morning breakfasts. The door was always open for anyone who wanted to stop by for a cup of coffee and home-made cakes and pies. She worked part time at Columbus Farmers Market. Eleaner had plenty of friends and always enjoyed her weekly Wednesday card games with the ladies.  She also played a mean game of Rummicub with family and friends. Eleaner was predeceased by her loving husband Charles L. Hathaway and her cherished son, Charles L Hathaway (Charlie). Eleaner is the beloved mother of Eileen Hill, Patti (Ritchard) Woolston, Marian (Charles) Bucci, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral service on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30am with a funeral service beginning at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Florence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to either Columbus Methodist Church, 24573 East Main Street, Columbus, NJ 08022 or Vitality Hospice, online at vitalityhospice.com would be appreciated by her family.
