Elizabeth V. Morris Obituary

On March 20, 2023, Liz ended her earthly journey.


She grew up in Burlington and graduated from All Saints Elementary and Burlington City High School.


Liz was a member of Katherine Drexel Parish, where she sang in the church choir.


As a student of ballet, she was awarded a scholarship to Jacobs Pillow Dance Academy in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.  To further prefect her art as a dancer, she spent time studying dance in Europe.  She also taught ballet along with appearing in many dance productions.  Liz was also an accomplished vocalist and received a recording contract with Columbia Records.


She spent several years of her life living in Manhattan before returning to Burlington to care for her parents.


Liz, her brothers, and sister were owners of the Colebrook Restaurant and Tavern in Mt Gretna Pennsylvania for many years.


She was predeceased by her parents, John and Victoria Morris.  Liz is survived by her brothers John (Connie) Fred (Cindy) and her dear sister Lauretta (Claire).


She also leaves behind her cousins and many close lifelong friends.


Liz would do whatever she could for whoever she could!


Whether they had 2 legs or 4 legs!


Anyone who knew Liz, was aware of the love she had for animals.
