Elwood "Woody" Farra, Jr.

Elwood “Woody” Farra, Jr., passed away at Burlington Woods in Burlington Township on Thursday at the age of 67. Woody was born in Mt. Holly and grew up in Delanco. He lived in Riverside and Beverly during his 20-30’s and has lived in Burlington for many years. He worked as a backhoe operator doing sewer line replacement for most of his working career, before a stroke limited his ability to work.

Woody loved motorcycles, playing pool and hanging out with friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Elwood and Catharine Farra (Nee: Helms) and a sister Elaine. He is survived by his long time partner Beth Quinn and his sisters Karen (Farra) Chmielewski, Kathleen D’Agostino and Beverly Hesson and his nieces and nephews: Richard Matthews, Damon Chmielewski, Mariesia Dennon and Jesse Matthews and many friends who he considered family. The family invites friends to celebrate and share memories of Woody on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 5-7pm at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016.
