Eric E Viereck, Sr.

Eric E. Viereck, Sr. originally of Burlington Township, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 26th, 2022 at the age of 59. He was born November 3, 1962, to the late Edward B. Viereck (1933-2009) and Clara M. Viereck, nee Nick. He was a 1981 graduate of Burlington Township High School in Burlington, New Jersey. Eric graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 with a degree in science. He was an avid sports fan who was never afraid to show his passion for his favorite teams such as the St. Louis Cardinals, Arizona State Sun Devils, and Pittsburgh Penguins to name a few. Most will remember Eric for his true love of coaching. He made a lasting impact on the community of Burlington Township through his dedication to the youth football program. He also coached baseball, street hockey, and roller hockey. He was always there to help a friend if they were in need, and never hesitated to give advice to anyone in need. He especially talked about how important friendship is. He is survived by his mother, Clara, sisters Laura Jean, Valerie Jean, and Constance (Connie) Jean. He is also survived by his four children with his former longtime wife, Dawn Viereck, (nee Kuklo), Eric, Jr, Nathaniel Dean, Isaac Michael, and Maddelynn Ann, along with two aunts and uncles, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Edward Budd Viereck, (1933-2009) and sister Darla Jean Viereck (1971-2010).
