Etta May Cotterall was born April 9, 1953 in Mt. Holly, NJ. From that day on our world was not the same. Etta May was a force to be reckoned with. Born into a world in which she would face many struggles and obstacles, both physically and mentally, Etta May persevered through them all.
Etta May loved to travel throughout Burlington County, sometimes walking but she was very adept taking the buses and trains to get to where she wanted to go. She was very resourceful and always searched to get what she wanted/needed.
Etta May was a very social person and she travelled far and wide to see her friends. She loved bowling, games, singing and eating, especially McDonald’s cheeseburger and vanilla shakes.
She was a child of God and loved Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. She visited many churches in Burlington, especially if there was a breakfast or lunch being served. She shared a special relationship with her friends at First Baptist Church.
In the evening of January 13, 2024 Etta May Cotterall took her last breath and entered into the presence of her Heavenly Father. She was a sweet soul who showed us how to live life. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 335 Stacy St. Burlington, NJ on February 7, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10 am with a service to begin at 10:30 am followed by a committal service at Oddfellows Cemetery.
