Evelyn Kay (Stevens) Morawa

Evelyn Kay Morawa,  died at her home in Springfeld Township with her family by her side on June 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Mrs. Morawa was born in Magdalena, New Mexico to the late Gertrude Quilter and William Stevens, was raised in California and was a Springfield Township resident most of her life.

She was United States Air Force Veteran who proudly served her country as a dental hygienist in the early 1960’s where she met her late husband, Michael.  Evelyn Kay was a loving and nurturing wife and mother as well as a dedicated homemaker.  Her devotion to her daughter Maryann, the eternal child and the angel of the family, is one of her finest attributes.

Evelyn Kay is predeceased by her late husband Michael M. Morawa; she is survived by daughters Trudie Edinger of Hainesport Twp., Maryann Morawa of Springfield Twp., Theresa Morawa of Mansfield Twp., and son Michael Morawa of Springfield Twp.; grandchildren, Michelle (John), Nichole (Kevan), Rebecca, Cale, and Jordan and also two great grandchildren, Skylar and Matthew.

A private memorial will be held at the family’s convenience.
