Florence "Flo" (Jackamonis) Morrison

Florence “FLO” Morrison (Nee: Jackamonis) of Burlington City New Jersey, passed away on Saturday June 17, 2023, she was 99 years old. Flo was born in Everson, PA. Flo was preceded in death by her father George Jackamonis, mother Ada Jackamonis (Nee: Schmuck) her husband William Morrison, her brothers: George, Jack, Vince and Robert “Hickey” Jackamonis, her sisters: Betty Tucci, Shirley Cobb, her son Robet J. Perro, Sr, her son in law Jim Halstead and two step-grandchildren. Flo is survived by her daughters Toni Perro, Judy Perro Halstead and daughter in law Ferol Howell and Laurie Perro (Robert); her grandchildren: Robert “BJ” J. Perro, Jr. (Danielle), Marcella Taylor, Van Wiley (Janna), Kristi Howell, Jonell Perry (Bill), Kacie Rogan (Brian) and Tara Perro. Flo is also survived by 17 Great-grandchildren and 10 Great-Great grandchildren. Flo has numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Flo moved to Burlington City at a very young age with her parents and her 6 siblings and she would remain there for the remainder of her life. Flo attended Saint Paul’s RC Church for over seven decades. Flo was an avid Bingo player and was well known on the Bingo Circuit in Burlington County. Flo was a beautician and operated her own beauty shop for several years. Her final place of employment was at Page Funeral Home where she was still styling hair until the age of 95. In her 70’s Flo took up tap dancing and performed at several recitals where she was known as the “Tapping Nanny”. Flo loved Christmas. She loved the decorations and a Howdie Doodie shot of scotch around the Christmas Tree. There are so many stories and life experiences for Flo that we could fill up a book. When many people spoke of Flo her family would hear the term “Legendary”. Flo was full of life and her lover for her family was a powerful force that everyone felt, and they will continue to feel that love for the remainder of their days. A viewing will at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 9-11am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Paul’s RC Church at 11:30am with entombment to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery Mausoleum.
