Frank K. Hopps Jr. (Skip)

It is with great sadness, the family of Frank K. Hopps Jr. (Skip) age 80 of Burlington, New Jersey announces his passing on Wednesday May 21, 2025. He will forever be in our hearts.

He was born in Camden County, New Jersey, and was a graduate of Burlington City High School class of 1962. Frank served in the Army National Guard from January 31st, 1967, to January 13th, 1972, followed by service in the Army Reserves. He was employed by NOAA/GFDL as a computer operations shift supervisor, with more than 35 years of federal service before retiring in 2010. 

Frank was a car enthusiast, partial to Corvettes, and owned many through the years. Weekend car shows were a hobby he enjoyed. He loved sports, especially his Philadelphia teams. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting in West Virginia with family. He cherished family gatherings, and good conversations. Friends were very important to him, meeting the guys for lunch and dinners at the Legion brought him joy. 

Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank K. Hopps Sr. and Mildred J. Hopps (nee) Collins, and his son Christopher Raymond Hopps. He is survived by his brother James Hopps. His children Gina Lynn Ieradi (Bob), Frank K. Hopps III, Robin Lynn Faunce (John). His grandchildren Anthony Ieradi, Nicholas Ieradi, Zachary Hopps, Samantha Hopps, Melanie Littlewood, and Tammy Littlewood. Nieces Laurie Robinson and Kelly Sevilla. Nephew John Hopps. The grandchildren called him Pop-Pop, but he was also Uncle Pop-Pop to Erica Burpee and Shannon Burpee, Pop-Pop Frank to Tyler Littlewood Fine and Bradley O'Sullivan. Dear friend to Nancy Boyce, her daughter Brieanna Boyce, and her son Amari. Many cousins and friends. 

As per his wishes, there will be no services. Donations can be made in Frank's memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.stjude.org. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family through the funeral homes website.
