Gary Crutchley Obituary

Gary Lee Crutchley
Forever loved, deeply missed

Gary Lee Crutchley passed away surrounded by the love of those who held him close in their hearts. Gary lived with significant intellectual disabilities, which shaped many aspects of his life, but never defined the size of his heart or the depth of his love for others.

Gary was predeceased by his father, Gary Crutchley Sr.; his grandparents, Peter Talevi, Irma Reis, and Edna Peters; his uncle, Pete Talevi; and his aunts, Louise Lowery and Lisa Bacskay.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Eugena A. Garzillo, whom he loved more than anyone else in the world; his father, James A. Garzillo; his brother, James T. Garzillo, and sister-in-law, Jenna K. Garzillo; and their children, Sophia M. Vazquez and Gabriel J. Liebmann. Gary is also survived by his stepsisters, Devon Crutchley and Vanessa Crutchley; his nieces, Jordon and Harlem; his aunts, Arlene Nichols, Robin Hancock, and Joan Amber; and many loving cousins: Christine Colon and her husband Angel, Veronica Cumberland, Danielle Olesik and husband Adam, Sarah DelRicci and husband John, Stephanie Bacskay and partner Jim, Eugene Clugsten and wife Lauran, David Clugsten and wife Francesca, Peter Talevi, Dennis Talevi, Alyssa Connor, Michael Cumberland, Chad Cumberland, and many others who loved him dearly.

Before becoming disabled, Gary worked at a veterinarian hospital in Trenton, New Jersey, where he took pride in his work and enjoyed being around animals.

Gary found great joy in gaming, especially playing Xbox online with friends he made through Xbox Live. Those friendships meant the world to him and gave him a strong sense of connection. He also enjoyed writing, cooking, and expressing himself creatively. Above all else, Gary had a huge heart. He cared deeply for others, worried about the people he loved, and had an unwavering love for his family that never faded.

Gary will be remembered for his kindness, his gentle nature, and the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, loved him, and shared in his world.
