Gary Fenton, Sr. Obituary

Gary R. Fenton, Sr. of Mt. Laurel, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, December 6th, at the age of 81. Gary was born in Riverside, NJ and proudly served in the US Navy as a First Class Boilerman Technician, aboard several ships including: U.S.S. Ranger, Lexington, Annapolis and Randolph. He was Honorably Discharged in 1968.

Gary had a fulfilling 30 year career at PSE&G. Upon retiring, he enjoyed short-track dirt car racing, salt water fishing and boating. A homebody at heart, his main enjoyment was staying close to home and his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Russell and Beatrice Fenton (née Swann) and his grandson, Alex Hearn.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 60 years, Janice Ann Fenton (née Francesco) and their children: Melissa Hearn (Robert), Dana Gray (John), Gary Jr.(Kate),

his grandchildren: Mark, Tyler, Holly and Chloe Scarlett; great grandchildren: Ruby, Liam, Theodore and River, and his siblings: Joyce Wood and Nancy Theodore and their families.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the: Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

Relatives and friends are invited to the Viewing and Services, with his family, on Saturday, Dec 14th 2024, from 1:30 pm -3:30 pm, at the Page Funeral Home.
