GENEVIEVE M. MICHAUD (Kochuba) of Burlington, NJ

Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Age 93.

Born July 10, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre PA. Daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Zawol) Kochuba. Predeceased by her siblings; Kathryn, Mary, Joseph, and Peter.  Loving wife of the late Leo Joseph Michaud.  Genevieve is survived by her devoted children-Mark (Brenda), Mary Patrice, Jean Heaton, Christopher (Susan), Joan, Richard (Kathy), David (Saralee), and Sue Silla  (Charlie). Proud grandmother of Karen, Melissa, Gregory, Timothy, Emily, Katherine, Richard Jr., Cameron, Erica, Zachary, Noah, Rachel, Elena, Caroline, and Genevieve. Also survived by 7 great-grandsons as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.  A long-time member of All Saints Church, Burlington, NJ, Genevieve was also a communicant at Corpus Christi Church, Willingboro, NJ. Gene was involved with many volunteer activities with her church family.  Gene enjoyed dancing, crocheting, crafting, travelling, and going to the casinos in AC. One of her favorite things to do was to go for long car rides to see the countryside.  Prior to retirement, Gene was a sales associate at Pomeroy’s in Willingboro and Grant’s Dept. Store in Mt. Holly.  It is impossible to capture the life of one so dear, but those who had the pleasure of her acquaintance knew Gene to be a loving, generous, talented, and joyful lady.  To her family, Mom was just the Best. The Cream of the Crop. We will miss you. Until we see you again we will carry you in our hearts. Thank you for your love & wisdom, and leading by example to teach us how to be good human beings.  The family would like to thank the caring staff of Wynnwood Rehab. & Healthcare Facility for their loving attention to our Mom during her final weeks. We are truly grateful for the dignity and grace you’ve shown to our dear mother and to each family member that sat at her bedside throughout this transition.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday June 24, 2021 in All Saints R.C.
