Obituary

George G. Coolidge, Sr. of Burlington Township, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 6, 2022 at the age of 78. George was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduating from Father Judge. This instilled his life long passion for the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and as any Philly sports fans, there were many waves of ups and downs. Speaking of waves, he and his family created many, many memories at the shore of the Wildwoods. He enjoyed camping and that “Once a Year” tradition of the Mummers Parade, especially the String band division. He can rest his golden slippers as his family will continue to celebrate his legacy of a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Dolores (Nee: Niedosik) Coolidge and their children: Michael (Tina Marie) Coolidge, Michelle “Shelly”, George, Jr. (Cynthia) Coolidge, Bernadette (Michael) Jobes; grandchildren: Taylor Goralski, Cheyenne, Marissa, Claire, Michael Coolidge, Chase Jobes; a sister Eileen (Gerard) O’Brien, and several nieces, nephews and friends. The family invites friends to his viewings and funeral services. Viewings will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Tuesday from 6-7:30pm and on Wednesday from 9-10am. Please join George and his love for the Philly sports teams by wearing your Philly sports team favorite jersey Tuesday Evening at the viewing.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30a.m. in All Saints RC Church, 502 High Street, Burlington, with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. Facial coverings for the health of all attending will be required. Donations may be made in his memory to either the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or ASPCA in your local area.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to his family from www.pagefuneralhome.com #lifecelebrationbypage.
