George M Ward

George M. Ward, of Burlington, passed away after a health battle, at the age of 64. He was born in Mt. Holly and was a lifelong Burlington resident.  George worked for Burlington Coat Factory before health issues led him to a more domesticated life.

He enjoyed fishing whenever the time allowed, feeding the birds in the yard and tending to his tomato garden when the season arrived. He was a proud member of the F&AM Lodge 32 of Burlington. He was predeceased by his parents: George and Margaret (Nee: Simpkins) Ward and his siblings: John and Mary, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 35 years Denise (Nee: Corson) a sister Kathy Reid and many nieces and nephews.
