George H. Willitts Jr., 71, of Burlington, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Born and raised in Burlington, George was a dedicated public servant, working for the Burlington County Highway Department for over 26 years before retiring in 2016.  He was known for his strong work ethic, his love for the open road, and his deep pride in his family.
George found joy in the simple things - riding his motorcycle, admiring classic cars, collecting lighthouses, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and family.  He loved vacationing in Long Beach Island, listening to talk radio, and enjoying sweet treats.  
He is survived by his beloved children: George H. Willitts III (Stefani), Erica Marshall, Gracie Willitts, and Jakob Willitts, and his honorary daughter, Jamie Cecilia; his cherished grandchildren: Hannah, Olivia, and Avery Marshall, and Albert Kitz-Willitts; and his devoted mother, Gladys Willitts.
George was one of ten siblings, and is survived by Leonard (Maria), Rick (Linda), Bob, Kimberly, Patty (Lyle) Moyer, Dave, Michael, and Deborah (Ed) Szychoski, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, George Willitts Sr., and his sister, Leslie Willitts.
George’s presence, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6PM at Page Funeral Home in Burlington, NJ.
