Georgeann McKeon (Camac)
December 1, 1954 – May 16, 2025
With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Georgeann McKeon (Camac) of Burlington, NJ, who left us peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by family and friends.
Born on December 1, 1954, in Mount Holly, NJ, Georgeann was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and a dear friend to many. She was predeceased by her parents, George L. and Beulah Camac. Georgeann made Burlington her lifelong home, where she raised her family and touched countless lives with her warmth, wit, and unmistakable spirit.
Georgeann passed just one day before her beloved husband, David Mckeon of 37 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children: George Camac (Sheila), David Mckeon Jr., and Michael Mckeon (fiancée Kristine); and her adored grandchildren: Marissa Camac (fiancée Daniel), George H. Camac, and Mason Maser-McKeon.
She is survived by her loving sisters: Rose Hoyt (Henry H.), Judith Anderson (Harry A.), and Carol Morley (Edward H.); and joins in eternal rest her late siblings, Richard Johnson and Rita Burr.
She also leaves behind extended family members, sister and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins whom she loved dearly and cherished spending time with over the years, as well as countless friends who were blessed by her presence.
In her younger years, Georgeann owned and operated the successful hair salon Good Looks, where she not only beautified her clients but formed lifelong friendships. She later worked as a bartender, where her love of people and quick wit made her a favorite among customers and friends alike. A fiercely devoted mother, she proudly supported her son George through college—an enduring testament to her strength, determination, and selflessness.
Georgeann had a passion for dancing, cooking, crafts and watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and General Hospital!. Her infectious laugh, sharp sense of humor, and big heart made her unforgettable to all who knew her. She loved her animals deeply—they were family, too. Whether preparing a warm meal, hosting a family gathering, or indulging in a bit of spirited gossip, Georgeann brought life and love to every moment.
And of course, she was known for “the look”—that unmistakable glance that could stop you in your tracks and make you rethink whatever you just said… or did! (LOL)
She will be profoundly missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
