Grace Dolores (Orsini) Tomasetti

Grace  Dolores Tomasetti (née Orsini), age 84, of Moorestown, formerly of Burlington, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Martin Tomasetti, Sr. for 55 years. Born in Easton, PA on March 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Cipriano “Chippy” and Mary Orsini and stepdaughter of the late Josephine. A 1957 graduate of Burlington City High School, Grace worked for many of the local businesses. She especially enjoyed working at Mother’s Kitchen in Burlington until her retirement in 2001. Proud of her Italian heritage, Grace was instrumental in helping to form the Amici Italian Club and later established the Societa Belle Italia Cultural Group where she remained President Emeritus. She will be remembered for her love of preparing Italian food and her delight in entertaining her family and friends. She was known as “Amazing Grace”, was an avid reader, a lover of the shore and the biggest fan of her family. A devoted Mother, proud grandmother and “Nonna”, she will be missed by her children, Henry (Michele), Michael (Sandy), Lisa (Susan); grandchildren, Alexa (Ben), Hank (fiancée Shannon), Leah (fiancé Louis), Anthony, Christian and great grandchildren Charlotte and Dean. Grace will also be missed by her brother Charles “Sonny” Orsini, her sister Dolores “Dee” Orsini Casperaites and her Aunt Alba Coccia. She was predeceased by her sister Sheila Doll. Grace also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly. If you met her you’d never forget her, always willing to help anyone anyway she could, a great selfless soul. Rest in peace, we love you to the sky, high, high, high. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street, Burlington, NJ on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Tuesday from 9:30am to 10:30am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am in Saint Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060 would be appreciated by her family.
