Harold "Jim" T. Shinn

Harold T. “Jim” Shinn, born January 14, 1935, entered eternal life on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife and the love of his life of 67 years, Carolyn Shinn (née Arey).

He leaves behind his cherished children, Thomas Shinn (Lynn), Terri Ochipinti (Anthony), and Brenda Shinn. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Derek Shinn, Alexander Shinn, Kristen Irwin, Nicole Irwin, Sarah Shinn Celona (Joseph), and Paul Irwin, Jr. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren, Adrian Ochipinti (Kasey), Nicholas Ochipinti (Jennifer), and Anthony Ochipinti, Jr.

His legacy continues through one great-grandchild and five step-great-grandchildren, each a treasured part of his family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing in the chapel at Broad Street Methodist Church in Burlington, New Jersey, on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with funeral services immediately following.
