Helen M (Locke) Goodlin

Helen M. Goodlin of Burlington Township passed away Thursday February 27, 2025 at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly at the age of 93. Born in McKeesport, PA Helen was a longtime Burlington resident. She worked as a water safety instructor at Burlington County College for many years and also taught swimming lessons to the neighborhood children in her own pool. She was a very outgoing and social person; she loved to host and attend parties, going on cruises and country line dancing with her late husband Leon. She also enjoyed barbeques, swimming and in her younger years camping with the family. Helen was also a member of the Burlington Township Mayor’s Advisory Committee for many years. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Helen (nee Casey) Locke, her siblings; Patricia Chisamore, Gary Locke and Walter Locke and her husband Leon Goodlin. Helen is survived by her children; Adele (the late Gene) Meyer, Elaine (Donald) Manz, Shawn (Pamela) Goodlin and Walter Goodlin. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Michael Fahn, Brian Fahn, David Meyer, Megan Zampino, Donald Manz, Kaysie Goodlin, Logan Goodlin and Haley Goodlin, many great grandchildren and her sisters; Theresa Bednarick and Bernadette Trotter as well as many nieces and nephews. A viewing for Helen will be held Friday March 7th from 10-11am at the Marlton Assembly of God Church, 625 E. Main St., Marlton, NJ 08053. A funeral service will begin at 11am with interment in the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery to be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington.
