Hope Elizabeth (Kelly) Kowaleski

Hope Elizabeth Kowaleski (Kelly) of Burlington passed away at the age of 54 after a courageous battle with cancer, while surrounded by her family. Hope was a graduate of Burlington City High School and went on to attain a Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Certificate. Hope was a passionate childhood educator and was loved by her students at Benjamin Banneker Charter School in Willingboro. Hope enjoyed the shore, especially trips with her grandchildren, where she enjoyed lounging on the beach and collecting seashells. Hope and her mother could be found hunting for treasures at estate sales over the years, helping to make her house a home for her family. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Kelly. Hope’s memory will be cherished by her mother Noreen Kelly (Ferguson), daughter Kayla Lodge (Daniel), son Joseph R. Kowaleski, brothers Edward Kelly and Thomas (Stella) Kelly, three grandchildren that she absolutely adored: Oliver, Russell, and Violet Lodge, and her companion Steve Holland.   

The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral mass on Friday, June 13, 2025. Viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington from 9-10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul’s RC Church, 223 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016 at 11am.
