J. Ronald "Ron" Hope

Joseph Ronald Hope “Ron” was born and raised in Burlington and passed away peacefully in his home in Burlington, NJ on December 15, 2025. Ron, as he was affectionately known, was a bright spot in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left a void in the heart of family and friends, and he will be missed. After a long career in sales with Snap-On Tools and Zee Medical Supplies, he found great joy in traveling the country from coast to coast with Loretta in their motorhome. He belonged to the Jersey Gems and the FMCA Motor Home Clubs. Ron was an avid reader and well versed on many varied subjects. He loved a good conversation or debate. His greatest moments of happiness were at family get togethers. He loved socializing and enjoying great foods and conversations. Predeceased by his loving wife of 35 years Loretta Kearns Wilkins, he leaves to cherish his memory his Stepdaughter, Lori Ramsell (Jim), Stepson, Howard “Hurk” Wilkins (Dot); Step-grandson David Zane (Kelly), Step-granddaughter Misty Gregson (Michael); Great-Step grandchildren: Genevieve, Julianna, Alexa and Samantha Zane, Cayden and Ella Gregson; brothers: W. Garey Hope and David Hope; nephews: Earl Hope (Linda), Paul Hope (Sandra), Thomas Hope (Bonnie), many loving grand nieces, nephews and his best friend Gregory Theilig. A viewing for Ron will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016 from 10-10:30 A.M.  A funeral service will begin at 10:30 with W. Garey Hope, Officiating, with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
