Jack S. Thorn

Jack S. Thorn of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2023 at Samaritan Healthcare in Mt. Holly at the age of 78. Born in Trenton, Jack lived in Florence for many years before moving to Lumberton. He was a draftsman by trade and worked for RCA in Cherry Hill until his retirement. He was a former member of the Florence Fire Co. and Florence Emergency Squad. He was a member and Past Master in 1973 of the Burlington Lodge #32 F&AM. He was also a noble of the Crescent Shrine and a Scottish Rite Mason of the Central Valley. In his spare time, Jack was an avid model car builder. Son of the late Jack W. and Julia (nee Myers) Thorn, Jack is survived by his wife Jackie (nee Walter) Thorn. Friends and relatives may gather at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington on Tuesday May 23rd from 10:15-10:45am. A religious service will begin at 10:45 followed immediately by a masonic service. Interment will follow in the Bordentown Cemetery, 210 Crosswicks Rd., Bordentown.
