Jennie Frances Stillwell (née Passarelli), 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey to Remo and Lucy Passarelli (née Carnivale), Jennie spent most of her life in Burlington before moving to Durham to live close to her son and his family. She delighted in tending to her flowers and decorating for every season with flair. She cherished sunshine and was well known for her deep summer tans, which were always achieved with her Bain de Soleil. A devoted Phillies fan, Jennie rarely missed a baseball game and could be counted on to cheer loudly and colorfully. She was truly one of a kind, with a quick wit and a candid way of speaking that kept those around her laughing—and sometimes guessing—about what she might say next. Her home and children were her pride and joy, and she never missed a chance to be their loudest, most devoted cheerleader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond J. "Remo". Jennie leaves to cherish her memory, son Donald Roy Stillwell III and his wife Tracy; daughter, Gabrielle Lynn Stillwell; three grandchildren: Anna Taylor Stillwell, Caroline Rose Stillwell, and William Donald Stillwell; her sisters Constance Feola and Elizabeth Angelini; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, New Jersey from 9:00 a.m-10:30a.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.pagefuneralhome.com
