Jennie Traks took a new path and walked into the House of our Lord on November 5, 2025. Her practice of daily walks had her walking many miles, becoming a familiar face around Burlington, and allowing her to enjoy the beauty this world had to offer both around town and on her extensive trips. Her hobbies included travelling, gardening, cooking and baking, as well as enjoying time with family. Her green thumb produced tomatoes that were the reddest, largest, and tastiest around, and flowers that beautified her yard and home. Her cookies and raspberry jam were savored, remembered, and requested by all those lucky enough to receive them, and her list of recipients was long! Her caring heart brightened the day of numerous friends through her visits, cards, and homemade Polish delicacies. She brought joy to all of her family through her nurturing nature, delectable lunches, voluminous French toast and nalesniki deliveries, and reminders to the grandchildren to "put on your jacket, it's chilly and you'll catch cold!" She was an inspiration to many.
Jennie was predeceased by her parents Leopold and Stephania Narbut, her husband Edward Traks, her sister Irene Dobran, and her son-in-law Jack Adams. A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, she leaves behind her daughters and son in law Patricia Adams and Kathleen and Paul Gold; her sister Alice Robinson; her beloved grandchildren Paul E Gold (Elissa), Steven Gold (Sara), Peter Gold (Jamielyn), and Karen Fullwood (Sean); her precious great-grandchildren Louanne Gold, Isabella Gold, Declan Fullwood, Kaia Gold, Delilah Fullwood, Alexander Gold, and Avonlea Fullwood, as well as numerous close neighbors and friends.
` Jennie will be remembered for the happiness she found in her family and friendships, her kindness and helpfulness, and for always living her life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed, but always carried in our hearts.
