Jennifer Faye Habingreither (Tofts) passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, Faye was raised in Rancocas and graduated from Rancocas Valley High School. She obtained an associate’s degree from Peirce Business College and subsequently worked at Consarc. Faye married and raised her family in Burlington Township while serving as a teacher’s aide at Pinewald School. She dedicated most of her professional life to the Burlington County Treasurer’s Office, retiring after 25 years of service. Recently, she relocated to Holiday Village in Mt. Laurel, where she enjoyed forming new friendships within the community.
Faye was a devoted member of the Broad Street United Methodist Church in Burlington and was known for her exceptional culinary skills both cooking and baking, sewing, gardening, and crafting. She had a talent for creating beautiful bows that added a special touch to the extra special gift. Faye enjoyed attending performances at Walnut Street Theatre, visiting Longwood Gardens, going to concerts and wineries, spending summers at the beach, shopping, and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym. She also enjoyed trips to Troy, PA to visit with family. She embraced life fully, cherishing moments with her family and lifelong friends, many of whom she referred to as her "sisters," with friendships spanning 50 to 60 years. Among these groups were The Three Musketeers, The Ya-Ya’s, the Burlington Township Seniors Luncheon Group, and the Women of the United Methodist Church of Burlington. Faye will be fondly remembered for her pride in her home and her elegant, sophisticated appearance. Her selflessness and dedication to caring for others brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Volunteering at the church brought her great gratification.
Faye was predeceased in death by her parents, Edgar and Florence (Ballinger) Tofts, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Joy Tofts. She is survived by her daughters Gwyn (Wayne) Sever and Sheri Von Fischer, her grandchildren, Madison and Olivia Sever, and Brooke and Skylar Von Fischer. Additionally, she leaves behind cherished nieces Jodilyn (Michael) Turner and Jennifer (Joe) Tofts-Ingemi and great nephews Jack and Evan Turner, as well as cousins Rick Ballinger, Curt (Candy) Tofts, Debbie (David) LeVan, Randy (Kathleen) Tofts and their extended families from Bradford County, PA. Faye was blessed with numerous friends who became family, playing a significant role in her life.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th from 10 am-12 pm at the Broad Street United Methodist Church, 36 East Broad Street, Burlington. A memorial service will begin at 12 pm with the interment held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Broad Street United Methodist Church at the above address would be appreciated by her family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington.
