Joan M. Dodaro of Burlington City passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in her residence at the age of 84. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Joan was a longtime resident of Philadelphia and lived in Burlington for the past 25 years. She worked for Rohm and Haas Company in Bristol, Pennsylvania for many years until her retirement. Joan enjoyed gardening, shopping, sewing and completing puzzles. However, her greatest joy was found in time spent with her family. Her house served as a gathering place for many holidays, parties, and card games. She was a model of love and patience to all who knew her. She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses: Debra and Victor Mancini, Sr., Sharon and Ronald Wigmore, Marie and Lee Elkins, Madalyn Kirk and Anne Schmidt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Victor Mancini, Jr., Robert Elkins, Katie Elkins, Anthony Mancini, Rachel Wigmore, Alexandria Elkins, Lauren Wigmore, Douglas Kirk, and Nicholas Kirk. In addition, she is survived by three great grandchildren: Jordan Elkins, Carter Elkins, and Nicholas Mancini. She is also survived by her sister: Delores Pisiechko and brother and sister in law: Thomas and Phyllis Pisiechko. A visitation for Joan will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 10-11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 103 4th Street Riverton, New Jersey, 08077. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
