Joan M. (Lovendoski) Smith

Joan M. (Lovendoski) Smith, age 90 of Burlington, NJ passed away at her home surrounded by family on June 29, 2024. Joan was a devoted wife and mother. She was a kind, loving person and a devout catholic. She was a life-long Burlington resident. Joan graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1951. She rode the train from Burlington to Camden every day. She raised her children with unconditional love. She was also an avid Phillies fan. In her later years she worked at Walmart retiring in 2021. Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Robert, Sr., and siblings Elizabeth, Florence, Joseph (Sonny) and Dolores. She is survived by five children; Robert, Jr., Doreen Maj, Diane, Mark and Lynn Szalai, six grandchildren; Michael, David, Jason, Kelly, Ryan and Alyssa, five great grandchildren, her sister Jennie and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Robert DiMaio, DO, her physician of 30 years for the excellent care, kindness and compassion until her death. A viewing for Joan will be held Monday July 8th from 8:30 to 9:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10am in St. Paul R.C. Church, 223 E. Union St., Burlington. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. Flowers are welcome.
