Joan M (Ingling) Marshall

Joan M. Marshall (nee Ingling) of Burlington Township died peacefully on February 18, 2025, after years-long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 81.

Born in Mt. Holly, Joan was raised in Columbus before moving to Burlington Township where she lived and raised her family for 51 years before becoming a resident at Laurel Brook Rehabilitation Center.

Joan spent her life doing what she was most passionate about – giving and caring for others. She was employed as an aid with Drenk Memorial Guidance Center and Special Services School District, and held many side jobs before eventually retiring from Rancocas Valley Hospital. Joan enjoyed Arts & Crafts, Baking, and Cake Decorating, but mostly loved spending time with family, being with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Sophie.

She is predeceased by her parents Harold and Mary Ingling, her brother Harold “Sonny” Ingling Jr., her daughter Cheryl Anne Marshall, and ex-husband Shreve Marshall Sr.

Joan is survived by her children Sandy (James) Clark, Shreve (Catherine) Marshall Jr., and Harry (Traci) Marshall. Also survived by her grandchildren Melissa Harris, Jason (Lianis) Hoffman, Hilary (Robert) Hanstein, Elisabeth Marshall, and Caitlyn Clark, as well as great-grandchildren, Angelina Marshall, Aubrey Harris, Scarlett Harris and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

A viewing for Joan will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Friday, February 21, 2025. From 12-1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Donations in lieu of flowers to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
