Joel E. Aldea

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joel E. Aldea, who left us at the young age of 30 on November 28th, 2024 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Joel was Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, as a child, he grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and eventually, he became a proud resident of Roebling, New Jersey. At the time of his passing, he was a long time team member of B&H Photo where he worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, and will be remembered as a hard worker, a strong teammate, and an achiever. Joel’s pleasures came from his joy for video games, anime shows, and sports as an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Philadelphia Phillies, and most of all, the Philadelphia Eagles. He will forever be remembered as a great person, best friend to his siblings, a loving son, a devoted fiancé, and a passionate father who lived carefree and always stayed true to himself. Joel is survived by his Mother Carmen Aldea, his Father Julio C. Madera, Grandmother Marta Melendez, his siblings Isamar Diaz, Darleny Martinez, Josue Madera, and Jessie Aldea, his nieces Edilenny Figueroa, Ehlanny Figueroa, and Milani Aldea, his Fiancée Raquel Lind, and his daughter Elena C. Aldea. Along with the countless lives who felt the warmth, love, and joy of Joel’s heart. A viewing for Joel will be held Friday, December 6th from 9am-12noon at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at noon with interment following in Odd Fellows Cemetery 4527 US Rt. 130 Burlington.
