Joseph D. Mozelewski, Sr., of Burlington, NJ passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024. Joe was born in Philadelphia, PA. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph M. Mozelewski and Elmira Mozelewski (née Harris). Joe was in the United States Coast Guard, worked at the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department and owned Joe’s Gunsmith Service. After retiring from his business, Joe worked as security for Wells Fargo. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music and tinkering in his machine shop. There was nothing Joe couldn’t fix. Husband to the late May K. Mozelewski. Father to Joseph Mozelewski (JoAnn), and the late Linda Turner. Grandfather to Lindsey, Danielle Rota (Nick) and the late Amanda Davis. Great grandfather to Leah May Rota. He is also survived by his sister, Arlene Stinnett, nieces Karen, Debbie, Jennifer, and nephews Don, Joe and Dickie. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Joseph’s hospice nurses Tracie and Terri for their care and compassion. A visitation will be held Monday, July 22nd from 10-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union St., Burlington. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 11am. Interment in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to Serenity Hospice Care, 56 Georgetown Rd., Bordentown, NJ 08505 would be appreciated.
