Joseph Statkiewicz passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph and Christopher, who were a source of pride and love in his life. In his later years, he was lovingly and attentively cared for by his niece Barbara and her husband, Danny, whose constant presence, compassion, and support brought him comfort, dignity, and peace. Their care and dedication provided him not only with daily support but also with companionship, reassurance, and the comfort of knowing he was never alone. He is also remembered by his devoted niece, Ann Marie; his nephews, Tony, Robert, Nicholas, and Michael; his great-nieces and great-nephews; and his great-great-nephew. His family was truly the center of his world.
Joseph spent most of his professional career working in security installation and information technology for banking systems. He was dedicated, skilled, and took great pride in his work.
He enjoyed sports, especially boxing and football, and was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was especially happy to have lived to see them win not one, but two championships. Above all, however, his greatest happiness came from time spent with his family. He cherished holiday gatherings and especially looked forward to Sundays after church, when he would go to his niece’s home for breakfast, a simple tradition that meant so much to him.
A deeply religious man, Joseph lived his life grounded in faith. His devotion to God, his love for his family, and his steady, caring presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, March 5th, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Paul Church, 223 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
