Josephine Josie (Tirabasso) Angelaccio

Josephine “Josie” Marie Angelaccio (nee Tirabasso) passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving children.  She was 81.

Josie was born in Riverside, NJ but raised in North Philly.  She was born to Joseph and Carrie (nee Serlenga) Tirabasso and was a proud Hallahan graduate.  She met and married the love of her life, Nino, and raised their three kids in Burlington, NJ where she lived until her death.  For 25 years she worked for the Burlington County Prosecutors Office and made many life-long friendships.  She retired in 2006 to enjoy her time with her grandkids, who were her pride and joy.

She is preceded in death by her husband Nino and is survived by her three loving children: William Angelaccio, Rene (John) Barry, and Carrie (Anthony) Wiesniewski; her three wonderful grandkids: Katelynn and Melanie Wiesniewski and Colin Barry; her sisters-in-law Maria Colavecchia and Elena Toffi; and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her family, Josie had many special friends including Rose, Libby and Marianna (her card playing buddies); and Doug and Ida Rigg; and her ‘adopted’ kids Bobby and Lisa (Matt) Wiesniewski as well as her “adopted” grandkids Matthew (Kate), Steven, and Megan.

Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate her life at Page Funeral Home, Burlington, NJ on Saturday, June 26, 2021.  Viewing will be from 9am to 11am with a funeral service beginning immediately after at 11am and burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ.
